When using the skill, you need established names for your devices. There are two ways to define these names:
Use the names you previously set up. They are shown in the Alexa app and can be changed Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the device to the group. More information is available at Create a Smart Home Device Group (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups) Once you know the name or group name for your devices, you can say the following:
Depending on the types of devices your skill supports, choose example phrases from the Use Your Smart Home Device with Alexa page and replace [bracketed text] with names appropriate for your skill. Example:
"Alexa, turn on the [Connect.Control lights]." "Alexa, set the [Connect.Control lights] to red."
