When waking up, don't hit the snooze button - ask Alexa to open 'awake I am', run a quick test (and hopefully get it right). Over time you will see how clear your head is at those times when you need to be up and alert.
Get into the habit of checking how good you are at performing a simple test when your mind may not quite be spinning. If it's too easy then increase the difficulty level by saying 'Settings' The skill keeps a log of daily success and fail attempts so that you can review how many times you are awake (or still asleep)
