Easily find beers that are currently on tap wherever you are going before you leave the house, just ask Beer Scout what you can drink there!

Already out and feeling thirsty? Use Beer Scout on your Alexa app to find your ideal beer at a venue nearby and fit in a tasty beverage while the other half does the shopping!

Tell the Beer Scout your favourite beer styles, like IPA or Stout to prioritise them when beer scout is finding your next beer.

Beer Scout only tells you about beers it has seen being drunk recently, so there's a good chance the venue still has it when you arrive, and the list of beers is updated every day!

HOW DO I USE IT?
Get started with the beer scout by saying "Alexa, ask Beer Scout..." or "Alexa, open Beer Scout", then you can:

Find beer on tap nearby, say: "...what's on tap?" or "...what's available?"

Find beer in specific place, say: "...what's on tap in Shoreditch?" or "...whats new in Ringwood?"

Add your favourite styles for better matches, say: "...add Pale Ale to my favourites" or "...i like Stout"

List your favourite beer styles, say: "..what are my favourites?" or "..list favourites"

Remove a beer style from your favourites, say: "...remove Pale Ale from my favourites" or "...delete style"

Reset your favourite styles, say: "...delete preference" or "...reset preferences"

Beer Scout shows the details of every beer suggestion on your device screen, including the Venue address and beer details, so you can easily find it later. If your device doesn't have a screen you'll find this in the Alexa app in the 'Activity' area.

SEARCHING FOR BEER NEARBY
To find beer nearby you need to give the Beer Scout Skill permission to access your location. on Amazon Echo devices Beer Scout needs the 'Device Country and Postcode' permission, on mobile devices and tablets it needs 'Location Services'.

You can set the permission through your Alexa app, navigate to 'Skills & Games' then tap the 'Your Skills' tab. Next open the Beer Scout skill and tap on 'Settings'. You can now see the current permissions and update them.
