With 'Better Heart', Alexa now speaks Hindi along with English to help you keep your heart healthy!
Better Heart Skill has been designed to help millions of people out there to understand their cardiac health better. The Better Heart Alexa skill is a repository of curated content from health specialists. This skill will play out heart related information. The content of this skill has been categorised into – facts, causes, prevention, symptoms, and myths.
Doctors believe that understanding symptoms of heart at the right time, prevents many serious cardiac problems in people. Better Heart aids you in maintaining a good heart-health not only for yourself, but also for your loved ones. Better Heart is a free to use skill available on Alexa.
Better Heart can be accessed in two languages – English and Hindi.
To enable Better Heart in English, follow the steps below:
1. Say, “Alexa, open Better Heart”. Alexa will greet you with a welcome message and ask for your language preference.
2. Say, “English”. Alexa will read out random message from any of the 5 categories. Alexa will then ask what you would want to know about your heart, and will read out the categories.
3. Select a number as specified by Alexa, or you can ask specific questions like, “How to prevent heart disease?” After Alexa answers the query, it will ask if you want to hear more.
4. Reply with “Yes” to listen to more such heart-related facts.
Note: You can switch categories after a message, or you can listen to a different fact from a same category.
5. Reply with “No” to stop listening to more facts from Better Heart. Alexa will read out a disclaimer in the selected language, saying that the skill is not to be used as a Doctor's opinion. Always consult your Doctor for any health-related advice or opinion.
Note: At any time during listening to Better Heart, you can change the language preference by saying, “Alexa, tell me in Hindi” or “Alexa, tell me in English”.
