With the BG Home and Alexa, you can now interact with your BG devices by voice.
To get started:
1. Sign up / sign in BG Home App Download and install BG Home App and register an account to start.
2. Add device Make sure the Wi-Fi device has been correctly configured in BG Home App and you can remotely control/access it via external networks (3G/4G).
3. Enable skill In Alexa App, search and enable the skill “BG Home. Then follow the instructions to link your Amazon account to BG Home account. After account linking process is completed, discover devices in Alexa App or say “Alexa, discover devices” and make sure the device is listed and displayed as the same name in the BG Home App.
NOTE: You need to discover devices again in Alexa App if one of the following changes were made: Changed device name, Added or deleted device, The device has been reset.
4. Control device by voice
Now you can say to Alexa for voice control.
When using the skill, you will need to specify by name which device to use. For example, if you named one of your devices “Bedroom Lamp” (BG Home Adaptor), you can say: “Alexa, turn off my Bedroom Lamp.”
Troubleshooting: If Alexa returns voice the device isn’t responding, there might be because the device is offline. Please try to access the device in BG Home App. If the App shows “Device is offline”, please check your network connection until you can access the device in app.
