Big Ass Fans lets you use Google Assistant and Google Home devices to control fan speed and light brightness for the Big Ass Fans devices in your home. In order for this to work, your Big Ass Fans devices must already be associated with a Big Ass Fans or My Haiku Home account. This account is usually created when you first connect a Big Ass Fans device to your home wireless network.* Big Ass Fans for Google Assistant works with all Wi-Fi enabled Big Ass Fans devices for the home, including fans and lights. To get started, in the Google Home app, use Home / Add / Set up Device / Works with Google to enter the Manage Accounts screen and search for and select the Big Ass Fans action. When prompted, sign into your Big Ass Fans or My Haiku Home account, and authorize Google to access your account. Shortly after, you will see a screen to assign your fans and lights to Rooms. After that, your devices will be displayed in the Home screen of the Google Home app. For more details on the setup process, see 'Set up smart home devices using Google Home’ (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9159862?hl=en). For details on how to control your Big Ass Fans devices with your voice, see 'Control smart home devices using Google Home' (https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/7073578?hl=en). * If you did not create an account when first setting up your device, launch your fan's app and open the menu; tap where it says “Not Signed In” and you will be prompted to create or sign into an account.
