Braille Bot is a tool to help new users learn Braille, and help remind infrequent users of dot patterns they may have forgotten. The skill understands Level 1 alpha and numeric characters , as well as simple punctuation. Dot patterns can be in the form of (for F) Dots 1 2 and 4, Dots 124, 124, Dot 124. After the initial response, additional requests can be made simply by speaking the dot pattern or character name you would like to convert.
You can load the skill and request the first conversion by saying;
Alexa, use braille bot and convert O
Alexa will respond with the braille dot pattern of O which is dots 1 3 and 5
Conversely, you can begin by saying;
Alexa, use braille bot and convert dots 1 3 and 5
Alexa will respond with O
You can also begin by simply saying;
Alexa, use braille bot (wait for confirmation and then) what's the dot pattern for 1
In all cases, following the first response,you can simply say the character or dot pattern you need converted and braille bot will continue to respond with the correct conversion.
After loading the skill, you can say HELP (for assistance) or BYE (to leave).
