This version of Burglar Deterrent is designed to work with routines, this allows you to trigger realistic sounds of activity to protect your home with your smart security camera or on a schedule.
Make sure to enable the skill, then choose which sound you would like to play when a routine is activated by saying: "Alexa, open Burglar Deterrent Routines and choose sound"
Once this is done you can setup a routine to use Burglar Deterrent: Routines Edition. The type of sound you selected will automatically play every time the routine starts without any questions or speech. For example you could setup a routine to start the skill when your Ring security camera detects motion, or at specific times of day.
