BusMate helps you to quickly find out when your next bus is due.
BusMate tells you about real-time arrival times for Lothian Buses in Edinburgh, using data from MyBusTracker.
On launch, BusMate currently covers the City of Edinburgh. We hope to launch to other cities soon.
BusMate can tell you when buses are leaving from your favourite stop.
To get started, you need to set your local bus stop, you can find this on the bus stop or quickly on the web here - http://www.mybustracker.co.uk
Once you have your number simple say: Alexa, ask bus mate to 'Set my stop to number 36245242'. BusMate will remember your preference and use this for all bus checks.
Now, when you want to find out when the 22 bus is you can ask BusMate. "Alexa, ask BusMate what time is the number 22 bus"
If you are in a rush and take the same bus every day to work set that bus as your preference. You can do this by saying: "Alexa, ask BusMate to set my favourite bus to the number 22"
Once Bus Mate knows your favourite stop and bus you can simply say "Alexa, ask bus mate when is my bus due"
You can of course change your favourite stop and bus at any time.
