In the implementation of the popular Category Quiz (more than 1,1 Mio downloads in Google Play) for Alexa a game consists of 10 questions in the chosen category or a mixture of 10 questions of all available categories. Every question has 4 answer possibilities (A, B, C or D). Starting from 100 points, the value of each question is increasing by 100 points every round but at the same time the questions are getting more difficult. (Question 1: 100 points, Question 2: 200 Points, .... Question 10: 1000 Points) At the end of the game the player will be informed which place in the world wide highscore he can take with the achieved score in the chosen category.
To start a game with mixed question from all available categories you just have to say "Alexa, start Category Quiz". If you want to start a game in a single category the command "Alexa, start Category Quiz for playing category <CATEGORY>" will be your friend. The phrase <CATEGORY> needs to be replaced by one of the available categories. e.g. "Alexa, start Category Quiz for playing category Sports". The voice command "Repeat question" lets Alexa repeat the question including the 4 answer possibilities.
