This release provides the ability to decode the coloured bands on resistors to tell you what resistance they are.
Ask Alexa to tell you what resistance rating a particular resistor has. Just tell the skill how many bands the resistor has and then read out the colours of each and you will get back a value. Values always include the resistance and tolerance and where a resistor has six bands you will also be provided with the temperature coefficient.
Upcoming releases will tell you what colour coding represents a desired resistor value (useful for finding the right resistor in your spares draw) and add decoding for other electrical components
