The Skill allows the integration of HomeMatic CCU1, CCU2 or Raspberrymatic SmartHome Control Units with Alexa.
Connectivity between Alexa and your SmartHome is established using CloudMatic Cloud Services. You need to have an active CloudMatic connect / complete / fullservcie account. No further software installations are required on your CCU.
All Features of the Alexa SmartHome Profile are supported like control of Switches, Lights, Blinds and Heating. Additionally HomeMatic System Variables and Programs can be controlled.
You need to configure the skill using the service https://alexa.cloudmatic.de, which allows you settings on which components should be visible for Alexa under which name. Further documentations is provided there, too.
