Coast1079 was created in 2012 by the innovative team who conceived, built and launched Southport's community radio, going out on local FM from 2006.
Playing adult contemporary music, classics and specialist genres, Coast 1079 is produced from studios just off the mile-long boulevard Lord Street in Southport's town centre.
Coast1079 is blending new technologies for our growing audiences entertainment and building commercially upon our town's strong, creative and English Victorian Heritage, well established in the Liverpool City Region.
