Crosswords can be annoying when you get stuck, especially when you have a few letters but still can't find the right word. Tell Alexa the letters of the word you know, along with where any unknown letters (blanks) are and she'll look up words which fit. She'll even spell the results out for you....if you ask nicely.
User's have previously reported difficulties in providing Alexa with individual letters. Therefore, the skill now recognises the NATO phonetic alphabet for improved accuracy. But no worries if you don't know it, you can also provide any full word and Alexa will take it's first letter as its input. For example to provide the letter D you could say dog.
