With this smart home skill, you can conveniently control devolo Home Control via Alexa. Please proceed as follows:

Hardware and software requirements:
1) Make sure that you have an Alexa-enabled device, an Amazon account and the Alexa App installed on your iOS or Android device.
2) This skill can only be used if you are using devolo Home Control devices in conjunction with a devolo Home Control central unit and have registered a user account with mydevolo.com.
3) Make sure that the Home Control Central Unit is connected to the power grid and an Internet connection.
4) Make sure that all desired Z-Wave devices have been connected to the Home Control central unit via mydevolo.com or the Home Control App on your iOS or Android device and are working.

Account linking:
1) Select the devolo Home Control Alexa skill you want to install.
2) You will be redirected to your Mydevolo.com account.
3) Log in and authorise your Amazon account and Mydevolo.com account to be linked.
4) Only the device data necessary for operation and your e-mail address will be transferred to Amazon. You will find more details on this in the Terms of Use, which are linked on the aforementioned release page.

Set up skill:
1) Your device data will now be transferred to Amazon.
2) Adjust the transferred data in the Alexa App if necessary.

Test skill:
1) Test your skill by prompting a devolo Home Control device for an action using an Alexa-enabled device with a voice command, for example:
2) "Alexa, set the bedroom temperature to 20 degrees."
