Lost the dice again! Why not ask Alexa to roll for you? Ideal for many different games, roll 1,2,3,4, 5 or 6 dice quickly and easily using Alexa. Dice results are spoken and shown in the Alexa app so you can clearly see what's been rolled.
This skill builds on Alexa's built-in dice skill by adding commands such as:
- Roll normal dice with 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to roll 4 dice'.
- or Poker/Playing Card dice with 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to roll 5 playing card dice'.
- 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to roll again' which rolls again using the same number and type of dice previously used.
- Repeat (Speak) the dice results with 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to repeat' or 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to repeat roll'.
- Includes a Yahtzee helper in the Alexa app showing possible Yahtzee scores when rolling 5 normal dice.
This skill should recognise 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to roll 5 playing card dice' or 'Alexa ask Dice Shaker to roll 5 poker dice', but I had trouble with Alexa recognising the word 'poker', so feel free to try either yourself, if neither work, just use 'Alexa open Dice Shaker', then you can say 'roll 4 poker dice' or 'roll 5 playing card dice'.
