Have a organised list of 'volunteers' to wash the dishes at your home. Add your children, parents, roommates and that relative that is staying at your place for too long.
First, add people by saying:
- Alexa, tell dish duty to add John
John now is in the dish duty roster. Then add another person:
- Alexa, tell dish duty to add Mary
John and Mary are now in the roster. Since John was added first, he is the first one to wash the dishes. Check whose turn it is by saying:
- Alexa, ask dish duty who is next
- Response: It's John's turn.
John now needs to tell Alexa that he's doing the dishes:
- Alexa, tell dish duty John is doing the dishes
That will move John's name to the end of the list.
You can also remove someone from the roster by saying:
- Alexa, tell dish duty to remove John
If you just want a list of everyone in roster say:
- Alexa, ask dish duty who is in the roster
