With the e-Connect Skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your e-Connect devices by voice. To get started, select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link your e-Connect account and discover your devices. When using the skill, you need established names for your devices. There are two ways to define these names:
- Use the names you previously set up in the e-Connect platform. They are shown in the e-Connect app too and can be set by your installer
- Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the device to the group. More information is available at 'Create a Smart Home Device Group' (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups)
Once you know the name or group name for your devices, you can say the following:
"Alexa, turn on Kitchen Light"
"Alexa, turn off Irrigation"
