All you need is a simple voice command to switch on your hood while cooking or increase its extraction speed when cooking particularly pungent foods. And that’s not all! You can also select your preferred lighting via voice commands. Just ask Alexa to brighten, switch off, switch on or to change from warm to cold lighting, and enjoy a moment of total relaxation in the kitchen. With Elica Connect Skill you can: Switch on, off or adjust the extraction power. Alexa allows you to switch your hood on and off, and to choose your selected speed. Cooking something special and have your hands full? No problem! All you need to do is ask. Just increase the hood speed with a simple voice command. Adjust the lighting brightness and tone. The perfect lighting always creates the perfect atmosphere of comfort in a home. Alexa will immediately select the brightness of your hood lights, according to the ambiance you wish to create: cozy and relaxing or nice and bright for a well-visible kitchen counter. Choose the lighting tone you prefer, from cool white to warm white; matching it to the lighting in your living space. Create the scenes and groups you like best. With Alexa’s “scene” feature, set up scenes by combining the functions of your home’s smart objects. You choose the scenes that best fit your habits. With the “create groups” feature you can control all of the smart devices, included in one group, through a single command. For example: By saying, “Alexa, switch on the kitchen” you can turn on all the lights in your kitchen including those of your hood.

Note: the word “hood” will be replaced by whatever name you choose for your Elica Connect product. The name may be modified in the ALEXA APP (easily pronounceable names are recommended). Some hood models are equipped with second lights which are also voice activated. To best familiarize yourself with the voice commands we recommend referring to the features of the individual device, in the device list found on the Alexa App. HOW TO ACTIVATE SKILL To use Skill, first you must register your product in the Elica Connect App, available for iOS and Android. In order to complete Skill activation, all you need to do is enable it and enter the same credentials as you did in the Elica Connect App. Now you are all set to voice activate your Elica products!
