Yes, it is yet another Alexa Skill that tells you about some English idioms. But, this one is a bit different! All skills that we looked at just randomly gave an idiom without a proper explanation or a useful example. And worst of all, there was no way to search for an idiom! This Alexa Skill has more than 450 English idioms and proverbs. The English Professor can explain them in a simple to understand manner with a practical example. To get a random idiom, say: • "Alexa, start English Professor" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor" To search for an idiom, say: • "Alexa, ask the English Professor to give me an idiom with the words take and horn" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor to give me an idiom with take and horn" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor to explain, monkey business" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor to search for, kettle" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor to query for, dead horse" To ask about a specific idiom (all of the above would work), but you could also say: • "Alexa, ask the English Professor what is the meaning of spill the beans" • "Alexa, ask the English Professor what does it mean to be under the weather"
