The Fortnite Assistant provides random locations (named location, boss or grid) to start at either from the entire map or along a specified bus path. It can also provide a random Personal, Buddy or Universal Battle Location and can tell you where bosses and mythic weapons are located.
To open - Say ‘Alexa, open fortnite assistant’ –The first time it is opened, Alexa will provide a brief introduction. After that, the Fortnite Assistant will provide a random location based on your last request. - Random drop (map wide) for location, boss or grid: --- For example say, ‘pick a boss’. This will provide a random location with one of the bosses --- Using this command also sets the type of location you will receive when you use the path command - Random drop along a path: --- For example, say ‘path from Alpha three to Hotel seven‘ to receive a random location within a reasonable distance of the provided bus path. --- The type of location you receive will be determined by the type of the last map-wide random drop (above) you requested --- Use of the phonetic alphabet for letters A through H, but most unique sounding words beginning with the letter you need will likely work also. ----- Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel - Ignoring / watching locations: --- If you do not want to have certain locations randomly chosen you can ‘ignore’ them --- For example, say ‘ignore the authority‘ so that it will not be chosen as a location or boss drop --- ‘Watching’ a location is the opposite of ignoring it. ‘watch the authority‘ will allow it to be chosen again --- Say ‘reset all locations’ to make all the locations available to be chosen - Battle Locations: --- There are three different battle location methods which provide a means of sharing a start location with others. --- Say ‘get personal battle location‘ or ‘where should I go‘ to hear a random location based upon a four digit code you can specify and a single digit which is determined by the duration you set for it -----For example, say ‘set my code to zero one two three‘ to set your own code to any four digit number (greater than one) -----For example, say ‘set duration to thirty minutes‘ to choose the length of time that your personal battle location will last. You can specify ten minutes(0), thirty minutes(1), one hour(2) or two hours(3). -----Sharing the code with Squad or Duo team members can reduce the problems with choosing a start location and helps keep things interesting. -----Your teammates (or yourself) can enter the shared code as the Battle Buddy code (see below) ---Say ‘get battle buddy location‘ or ‘where should my team drop‘ to hear a random location based upon the current ‘battle buddy’ code -----For example, say ‘set buddy code to zero one two three‘ to set the battle buddy code to a shared five digit number ---Say ‘get universal battle location‘ or ‘get UBL‘ to get a location which is the same for every user of this skill and changes every thirty minutes. -----The UBL can also be used as a team drop location picker. - Informational: ---Location information can be requested for named locations, bosses and mythic weapons -----For example, say ‘where is catty corner‘ to be told the grid coordinates of the location -----For example, say ‘where is kit‘ to be told the named location and grid coordinates -----For example, say ‘where is the charge rifle‘ to be told the boss, named location and grid coordinates - Help: --- Say ‘help‘ for a list of categories with additional help -----Map drop, ignore location, battle location, or informational commands. for example, say ‘help with map drop‘ for a short explanation and some specific commands -----Specific command help: For example say ‘help with path‘ to receive detailed help on the topic
