This skill interfaces with the Granville Public Library. With it, you can do the following:
* Search for items by saying "lookup," and then the title of the item. * Check if Granville Public Library has an item by saying "Does Granville Library have" and then the title of the item. * Get a days events from the calendar by saying "what is happening today?" or "what is happening on October 31st?" * Retrieve the libraries hours for a given day by saying "what are the hours for today?" or "what are the hours on October 31st?"
If you are a patron with the Granville Public Library, you can login by reading off your complete library card number at any time. Then, you will be prompted to enter your pin number. Afterwards, you will be able to do the following:
* Submit holds by saying "reserve," and then the title of the item you wish to reserve. When there are multiple items with similar titles, it may help to specify the form you are looking for. For example, "Reserve title book," or, "reserve title DVD." * Retrieve your holds by saying "what holds do I have?". You can also limit this to holds that are ready for pickup by saying "What holds are ready for pickup?" * Cancel a hold by saying "cancel my hold on" and then the title. Note: you cannot cancel a hold once it is ready for pickup. * Renew an item by saying "renew" and then the title. * Retrieve a list of all items you have out by saying "What items do I have out?" Retrieve a list of overdue items by saying "What overdue items do I have?" Retrieve a list of 'lost' items by saying "What lost items do I have?" * Check what fines/fees you have by saying "What fines do I have?"
