Amazon Echo and Hisense skill work together to help you interact with your Hisense smart Air Conditioner with your voice. This skill can realize ON/OFF control, Temperature setting, Mode setting and Temperature query. Voice control through Alexa offers further convenience to the included IR remote control and the connect-from-anywhere HiSmart smartphone app.
To get started, select the “Enable Skill” button in the Alexa App to link your HiSmart Life account and discover your Hisense smart appliances. For further assistance about connecting to Smart home devices, please refer to http://amzn.to/291lR7u.
When using the Alexa skill, specify by name which appliance to use. There are two ways to define it/them: 1) Use the home appliance names you have set up. They are shown in the HiSmart Life app and can be changed; 2) Create a group to control. Go to the menu, and select the Devices icon . Use pre-set group names, or create your own, and then select Next. Select the devices you want to include and then Save. To create a group, the appliances need to be added one at a time. After connecting Alexa to your Hisense smart appliances, try saying commands like the following:
ON/OFF control: “Alexa, turn on the air conditioner.” “Alexa, turn off the air conditioner.”
Temperature setting: (required in cool and heat mode) “Alexa, set the air conditioner temperature to (25) degrees” “Alexa, set the air conditioner to (25) degrees”
Mode setting： “Alexa, set the air conditioner to cool” “Alexa, set the air conditioner to heat”
Turn Up/Down the temperature a set amount: “Alexa, increase the air conditioner by (2~4) degrees” “Alexa, decrease the air conditioner by (2~4) degrees” “Alexa, make the air conditioner warmer” “Alexa, make the air conditioner cooler”
Ask the temperature: “Alexa, what is the temperature of the air conditioner ?” “Alexa, what is the air conditioner set to? ”
