About History Unplugged: History Unplugged explores the forgotten or misunderstood stories that shaped our world. They include a horse who gained the rank of sergeant in the Korean War, presidents who gave their best speeches while drunk, and U.S. Army's failed attempted to replace horses with camels in the American Southwest. History Unplugged explores these stories this in two ways. First, Scott—the host—interviews historical experts. Guests include best-selling authors, fellow podcasters such as Dan Carlin from Hardcore History, and historical consultants for movies like Lincoln or video games like Assassin's Creed. Second, Scott answers questions from the audience about history. They can be about absolutely anything. For example, what was it like for a sultan to have 4 wives and 12 concubines? If all 44 U.S. presidents fought each other, who would win? What if the Nazis had won World War Two? Learn about the history you never knew with History Unplugged.
