Requirements • Homematic IP system with Homematic IP Access Point and devices that support the language control • Compatible smartphone (Android or iOS) with the current version of the Homematic IP app • Amazon user account • Loudspeaker supporting the Amazon voice service • Active Internet connection of your Homematic IP Access Point and the Alexa device
Connecting Homematic IP and Alexa • For connecting Homematic IP and Alexa, an activation key is required that can be generated in the Homematic IP app. • Activate the skill and follow the instructions described to create the connection.
Supported Homematic IP devices and functions can be used after searching devices via the app or via the voice command “Alexa, discover devices”.
