With the Honeywell skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Honeywell thermostat(s), camera(s), and Water Leak & Freeze Detectors with your voice.
This skill is compatible with T6, T6R, T6Pro Thermostats along with C1 and C2 cameras and Water Leak & Freeze Detector.

Latest updates:
- Easily stream your camera live to your Echo Show, Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick (Gen2 & above) and Fire Tablets (Gen7 & above) – “Alexa, Show me [Camera Name] camera”
- Check the most recent reported temperature of any of your Water Leak & Freeze Detectors – “Alexa, What is the temperature of [WLD Name]?

To get started, select the ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your Honeywell Home account and discover your thermostat(s). Find more information about connecting smart home devices at Connect a Smart Home Device to Alexa (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home).

When using the skill, you need to specify by name which thermostat/sensor to use. There are two ways to define this/these names:
- Use the name(s) you set up already – these are shown and can be changed in the Honeywell Home app, or
- Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the thermostat and/or one or more sensors to the group. More information is available at Create a Smart Home Device Group (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups)

Once you know the name or group of your thermostat, you can say the following: “Alexa, decrease Bedroom by 3 degrees”, or “Alexa, set Downstairs temperature to 72”.

The full list of commands is below:

Thermostat commands:
- “Alexa, set [group or thermostat name] to X degrees”
- “Alexa, increase [group or thermostat name] by X degrees”
- “Alexa, decrease [group or thermostat name] by X degrees”
- “Alexa, what is the [group or thermostat name] set to?”
- “Alexa, what is the temperature of [group or thermostat name]?”
- “Alexa, set [Thermostat Name] to (Heat/Cool/Auto/Off)"
- Alexa, set my thermostat to seventy degrees until 9 pm

Camera commands:
- “Alexa, show my [Camera Name] camera”
- “Alexa, show the [Camera Name] camera”
- “Alexa, turn [Camera Name] on”
Note: Turn off is not currently supported by Amazon for security reasons.

Water Leak commands:
- “Alexa, what is the temperature of [WLD Name]?”
