Using IoTify Alexa skillset users can discover the lighting devices connected with Volansys gateway and users can trigger commands like on/off the light, change the brightness of the light.
While enabling IoTify Alexa skill on Amazon Alexa application, users have to log in using IoTify mobile application credentials. Or the user can sign up to create a new IoTify account. Also, users have to provision gateway and end-devices using IoTify mobile applications.
The user account is the same for IoTify Alexa skill enable and IoTify Mobile application with the same credentials. iOS and Android mobile apps are available in the respective stores.
IoTify enabled device can be operated with below commands: Rename your IoTify enabled device with simple names like Lamp, Light, Kitchen, Office, etc. This makes command easier.
