It has been designed with memorisation in mind with the correct Tajweed (Currently only Abdul Basit 'Abd us-Samad [Mujjawad]).
You can ask iqra to keep repeating the ayah or continue to next ayah. You can also ask it to give a random verse from the Qur'an with the Saheeh international translation.
