GPS Finder is a Alexa Skill that allows you to track your dear ones on Echo Devices.
1. To get started:
- Enable the skill. This skill requires you to link your account. - When redirected to user page. Enter your details on the user page. - Once Account Linking Is Done, you can now use the skill to track people.
2. First you need to add the person whom you would like to track. This can be done by "Add" phrase.
- Alexa, Tell GPS Finder to add Raj {or any other nick name}. You can also add person by 4 digit code, for e.g. Alexa, Tell GPS finder to add 1111. This can be the last 4 digits of the mobile number for you to remember it easily. - If the person is added by name the skill will generate a random 4 digit code for the person. - You can add multiple persons into your Skill.
3. Once the person is added you can ask your dear one to visit https://www.kamakshiclouds.in/gps - He/She will have to provide your email id and the 4 digit Alexa Code. - Once he presses "Share Location" button. He can be tracked continuously till He/She stops the sharing the location or closes the browser.
4. The GPS Location will be updated on the Skill. To know the location use the phrase "Locate".
- Alexa, Ask GPS Finder To Locate "Raj" or {or the nick name you have added}. - You can also track person by 4 digit code. for e.g. Ask GPS Finder to Locate 1111.
5. Similarly you can remove the person from being tracked. This can be done by "Delete" phrase.
- Alexa, Tell GPS Finder to delete Raj {or any other nick name}. You can also delete person by 4 digit code, for e.g. Alexa, Tell GPS finder to delete 1111.
6. To Know the Code of the person by name, use the following phrase
- Alexa, Ask GPS Finder What Is The Code Of Raj" or {or the nick name you have added}.
7. Please note that the skill uses Google's Geo Location and is available free for only limited usage. To use Geo Location indefinitely as per the quota of Google you can update your own Google Key in the settings of http://www.kamakshiclouds.in/gps/user. To get the Google Key, login to your google account and visit https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geolocation. Click on "Get Key" on the top and update the key in the user settings of http://www.kamakshiclouds.in/gps/user.
