How does it work? We want to make sure that you get the best out of this skill, so we’ve put together this short guide so that you can get familiar with how it works and the functionality that it contains.
How do I start the daily check-in? “Alexa, ask Kindspace for my daily check-in” Alexa will ask you to score yourself against four statements. Two are focused on energy levels and two are focused on feelings and relationships. You will listen to each statement and then reply to Alexa with a score when prompted. The scoring is on a scale of 1 to 5 where 1=Never, 2=Seldom, 3=Sometimes, 4=Often and 5=Always.
How are the wellbeing scores assessed? The scores from your responses to the four wellbeing statements are combined. Alexa will give you some feedback on how you are doing, for example “Your wellbeing level is excellent. This is great news and shows you have built a positive attitude and resilience to cope with life.” Your wellbeing assessment from the daily scoring is categorised into four levels: Excellent ≥ 16, Good = 12-15, Fair = 8-11, Low ≤ 7
How do I access the wellbeing tips? Once you’ve completed your daily check-in, Alexa will give you the option to receive a wellbeing tip, or you can leave the skill for the time being and pop back later for a tip. If you just fancy a chat, we’ve got advice to enhance your wellbeing, you can also hear our tip of the day. Just say “Alexa, ask Kindspace for a sleep tip” or “Alexa, ask Kindspace for the tip of the day”.
