The Multi-Switch skill has been created to provide additional functionality to the PAW Multi-Switch. This device which provides a means of controlling low voltage devices - typically 5V to 12V and up to 3A current - would normally be controlled via a built in switch, WiFi, remote control or the dedicated web app. With the addition of this skill, the Multi-Switch and thus any device attached to it, can also be controlled via Alexa and the Alexa app. A typical use for the switch would be in controlling CCTV cameras, LED or low voltage lights and entry/exit systems. By installing this skill it would be possible to turn on/off any devices attached to the Multi-Switch whilst the user is away from their location by use of the web app, or the Alexa app. The dedicated web app also provides functionality for adding, editing or deleting devices from the users account. Please note: 1. The Multi-Switch device is not a mains powered device and is only intended for DC voltages where the power is provided by either an external DC power supply, or connected between the controlled devices power supply and the device itself. 2. This skill is only compatible with the PAW Multi-Switch.
With the PAW Multi-Switch skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your PAW Multi-Switch devices by voice. To get started, select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link your PAW Multi-Switch account and discover your devices.
