Ask the Musical Notes skill to play notes or scales.
When requesting a NOTE you have a few options: Play C Sharp - will play a long, mid-range C# note Play short low C sharp - will play a short, low pitched C# note
There is a required order which is: (1) The length of the note. This is optional and if omitted then a long note is played. The options are "long" or "short". (2) The octave of the note. This is also optional and if omitted then a mid-range note is played. The options are "low" or "high". (3) The pitch of the note. This is required and can be any of the letters from A to G. (4) The accidental to be applied. This is optional and if omitted then the plain note is played. The options are "sharp" or "flat".
When requesting a SCALE then you can choose from any major, harmonic minor, melodic minor, or natural minor scale. Just saying "minor" gives a harmonic minor scale.
Just as with the notes there is a required order for Alexa to recognise the scale: (1) The note. This is mandatory and can be from A to G (2) The accidental. This is optional and can be "sharp" or "flat" (3) The scale itself. This is optional and if omitted then the major scale is played. Options currently supported are "major", "harmonic minor", "melodic minor", "natural minor".
You can ask Alexa to repeat the last audio by simply saying "repeat" and if you want to hear it multiple times you could say "repeat 4 times". The maximum number of times Alexa will repeat is 5.
