Control your myGEKKO through Alexa. You can manage your connected systems with simple instructions and commands. It is not necessary to change any settings on your myGEKKO, all names are adopted automatically. To guarantee a good name recognition, the names should not contain any abbreviations nor be phonetically ambiguous. Any modification of the names on your myGEKKO require a restart to adopt the changes.
The skill requires an activated myGEKKO Plus GKQuery service and an already registered API key on your myGEKKO. Furthermore, the software version V5477-02 should be installed on your myGEKKO in order to be able to use all functions to their full extent. Following commands are supported:
Lights: Alexa, turn on kitchen light Alexa, dim kitchen light to 50 percent
Blinds: Alexa, set kitchen blind to 50.5 percent (The number after the comma is the inclination of the blinds) Alexa, open kitchen blind Alexa, close kitchen blind
Ventilation/Fan: Alexa, turn on kitchen fan Alexa, turn off kitchen fan Alexa, set kitchen fan speed to 3
Plugs/Devices: Alexa, turn on kitchen plug Alexa, turn off kitchen plug
Thermostat: Alexa, set kitchen thermostat to 20 Alexa, make kitchen thermostat warmer Alexa, tell temperature of kitchen thermostat
Music: Alexa, turn on kitchen music Alexa, turn off kitchen music Alexa, set volume of kitchen music to 20 percent
