By using this Alexa skill, users will be able to switch between smart home profiles, power on/off switches and power on/off lights of NBL smart home. Profiles, a predefined template of actions executed on smart home. Make sure that smart home gateway is online, user is registered in the NBL platform before attempting to enable this skill. User will have 4 profile options to switch in between named as "Away", "Home", "Abroad", "Night". User may/may not have Power switches and Light switches depending on his smart home deployment. Power Switches and Light switches can be named by the user in Smart Home platform and user should use same name when commanding via Alexa Skill. Eg: User Can Name Light Switch as "Bed Room Light" when setting up smart home, then user shall use same name on Alexa skill as well.
Provide your system login credentials (username and password) to enable the skill. Now you can instruct Alexa "Open nbl smart" to start Alexa skill, "Alexa, change profile to Away" to change profile If Power switch is available in smart home setup, following commands can be used. "Alexa,turn power switch(power device name) on" to control power device.
If Light switch is available in smart home setup, following commands can be used. "Alexa,turn on light switch(power device name) light " to control power device. If user password is changed or login expired, user will have to re-enable the skill by providing credentials again.
