WHY DOES ALEXA ASK ME "TO ACTIVATE NIGHT LIGHT SAY GLOW" / SAY "WELCOME TO NIGHT LIGHT"?
You've accidentally enabled a skill built by another developer.
To fix, disable the 'Night Light' skill with the candle logo and enable our 'Night Light' skill (with a star logo).
HOW DO I MAKE THE SKILL CLOSE WITHOUT MAKING A NOISE?
Simply say "Alexa, stop"
HOW DO I MAKE NIGHT LIGHT TURN OFF AFTER A SET AMOUNT OF TIME?
Simply say “Alexa, open night light for x minutes”. It even works if you say something more specific like “Alexa, open night light for 3 minutes and 20 seconds”.
WHY DOESN'T NIGHT LIGHT WORK ON MY KINDLE / ECHOBEE / OTHER NON-ECHO DEVICE?
The feature that lets the light ring glow only works properly on the official Amazon Echo and Echo Dot devices. Fire TV, Fire Tablets and other Alexa-enabled devices are currently not supported.
HOW DO I USE IT ON MORE THAN ONE ECHO DEVICE?
If the devices are all on the same account you can simply say 'Alexa, open Night Light' on each device when you want it.
CAN I CUSTOMISE THE COLOUR / STOP IT FLASHING ETC?
Sadly not, Amazon only let us provide the light in the exact way that it works. If they change that we will enable this feature.
CAN I USE SLEEP SOUNDS TOGETHER WITH NIGHT LIGHT?
That's not possible as Amazon only allows to use one skill at a time.
IS THE MICROPHONE LISTENING WHEN NIGHT LIGHT IS ON?
No, the microphone is off, while Night Light is flashing.
