Skill adds Alexa smart home capability to any RF socket with companion hardware and app. With an OOK device on your network the on off commands usually sent from your RF remote can be learnt and repeated when you command alexa to do so, making a dumb socket a smart one.
Sockets must be setup within the OOK app by learning the ON command and OFF signals for each desired socket. With this skill linked to your OOK account you can control the socket using the names chosen when learning the socket.
OOK stands for On Off Keying which is the modulation used within RF remotes.
