The P2 Powermate allows you to control your home-automation controler from Universal Devices. This enables you to control your motorized window treatments, including blinds, roller shades, roman shades and solar shades from your echo.
You will need a P2 Powermate account to use this skill or P2 Powermate App on iOS or Android devises and install the P2 Powermate app on your smart phone. Additionally you will need an Amazon account through the Amazon App Store, or Amazon official website, and install the Amazon's Alexa app from the Amazon App Store you purchased Amazon's echo.
When you enable this skill, you will be prompted to link your echo to your P2 Powermate account. You will need to provide your P2 Powermate email and username and password. Once you login and authenticate successfully, the Alexa Echo will be able to control your device.
The capability list:
Turn on and off the device name.
Note: The 'device name' is the name of the device in the device list of your P2 Powermate App. You need to add all the devisces to your P2 Powermate app with each device having a separate name. Each device can have 1 to 3 English words and cannot contain numbers or special characters or numbers.
