2. USER GUIDE
2.1 Some tips on contact names:
- Only English letters, spaces and numbers can be used for contact names, Alexa will not understand any other special characters - Alexa hears numbers as numbers, so when you are asking for "John one", Alexa will be looking for "John 1" in your contact list - Use names that are easy to recognize for Alexa, try it out and see if Alexa can find the name you created, if not - don't be disappointed, just try to come up with a simpler name. - Phone number should be in international format with '+' in front of the country code as in the placeholder example
2.2 Support
For any support related matters please use "Contact Us" form on the web site https://quick-text.com or e-mail to support@quick-text.com
2.3 Punctuation support
Currently skill understands following punctuation marks and will convert them to symbols before sending SMS:
- full stop - period - comma - question mark - exclamation point - exclamation mark
So when you say following message to Alexa: "I was at the bar yesterday period was looking for you comma but couldn't find comma were you there question mark" - it will be converted to SMS: "I was at the bar yesterday. was looking for you, but couldn't find, were you there?"
3. BALANCE
Unfortunately sending SMS worldwide without any geo-restrictions is not free so we incur a small transaction charge per SMS message. Currently default balance on registration with the service is 5 SMS, further SMS bundles can be purchased using "Top Up" web form on the https://quick-text.com website.
