The popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with its 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 625, 4,100 mAh battery, 3/4GB RAM was one of the most popular budget devices in 2017 for that reason and remains one of the most popular on XDA forums with a sizable development community. The smartphone launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and received an official update to Android 7.0 Nougat, but thanks to XDA Senior Member abhishek987, owners of the Redmi Note 4 get to experience the latest version of Android, Android Pie (Android 9), with everything working so smooth. There is already a group of members working on Android Q port and it is in beta state.
