Rialto Active

Thanks to Rialto Active and Alexa, you can now interact with your home thermostats and smart sockets, optimizing consumption without sacrificing comfort. First of all click on "Activate" on your Alexa App, to link your Rialto Active account and say "Alexa, discover devices". The Rialto Active Smart Home skill is compatible with all Rialto Active systems complete with the Rialto Active WhiteBox gateway.

Rooms:
To control a thermostat placed in a room, just tell Alexa to set <room name>.
- "Alexa set the bedroom to 18 degrees".
- "Alexa, increase the temperature of office".

In the same way, it is possible to turn on and off everything that is connected to the smart sockets (plug) inside the same room with a single command.
- "Alexa, turn on the living room".

To define room names:
- Create an Alexa group and add the device (s) to the corresponding group on the Alexa App. For more information visit http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups.


Alexa controls for Rialto Active devices.

NOTE: below the names enclosed between "<" and ">" are the names the user has assigned to the device (example: <thermostat> can be associated in the App with the name "ground floor")

Temperature control:
- You can set all Rialto Active thermostats with a voice command, for example: "Alexa, set <thermostat> to 19 degrees".

Other commands you can give via Alexa:
- "Alexa, increase the <thermostat> temperature"
- "Alexa, decrease the <thermostat> temperature"
- "Alexa, set the <thermostat> temperature to 24 degrees"
- "Alexa, what is the temperature of <thermostat>?"

ATTENTION: the temperature set-point change commands will be permanent if the thermostat is set in “manual” mode, while they will remain valid until the next program setting is set to “CHRONO” mode.


Heating/cooling control:
You can decide if the Rialto Active thermostat must work in Heating or Cooling mode, for example, if it is connected to a heat pump system with both functions.

In this case, the commands are:
- "Alexa, set the <thermostat> to heat mode"
- "Alexa, set the <thermostat> to cool mode"


Control of the Rialto Active Smart Plug sockets:
- You can turn on and off any device connected to a Rialto Active Smart Plug with Alexa using the name associated with it.

For example: "Alexa, turn on fan" will turn on the Rialto Active plug called "fan".
