RointeConnect with new technologies like Alexa, gives you more ways to control your home using your voice. Thanks to Alexa, you will not approach your heating products or use your smartphone. It’s enough to say a simple phrase to tell Alexa what you want your Rointe product to do.
Alexa from Amazon is compatible with the following Rointe products: - D Series Radiators. - D Series towel rails. - Rome and D Series Water Heaters. - CT.2 and Smart Touch Thermostats
Important: Not all Rointe products are compatible with the RointeConnect App; and not all options available in RointeConnect are available in Alexa. Alexa helps you to control your heating.
You can control Rointe products by talking to an Alexa compatible device, like Amazon Echo, Tap or Dot, and with Amazon Alexa App smartphones.
For the following examples, we will use an installation called house, a zone called living room and an environment called children's bathroom, which activates towel rails at 30º, turns off living room zone and turns on children's bedroom zone in manual at 21º.
To switch an installation on or off, say: - Turn on house installation - Turn off house installation - Connect house installation - Disconnect house installation - Change house installation to on - Turn off heating of house installation
To set the same temperature for entire installation, say: - Temperature of house installation to 20 degrees - Set thermostat on house installation to 20 degrees - Set house installation to 20 degrees - Set temperature of house installation to 20 degrees - Change temperature of house installation to 20 degrees
To raise or lower the same number of degrees in all installation zones, say: - Raise house installation 2 degrees - Lower temperature of house installation 2 degrees - Take 1 degrees off house installation - Reduce house installation 3 degrees - Add 3 degrees to house installation - Cool installation house 2 degrees
Note: If commands will raise or lower temperature of each zone by x degrees. For example, if you have dining zone at 20º and kitchen zone at 17º, you say: Lower house installation 2 degrees. The dining zone then lowers to 18º and kitchen zone to 15º.
To turn a zone on or off, say: - Turn on living room - Turn off living room - Connect living room - Switch on living room - Turn off living room heater
Note: If you have several installations with zones of the same name, Alexa will ask you which installation the zone belongs to after you tell her a command.
To set temperature for a zone, say: - Living room temperature at 20 degrees - Set living room thermostat to 20 degrees - Set living room at 20 degrees - Alter living room to 20 degrees - Set living room temperature to 20 degrees - Change room temperature to 20 degrees
To raise or lower temperature of a zone, say: - Raise living room 2 degrees - Lower temperature of living room by 2 degrees - Take 2 degrees out of living room - Reduce living room by 3 degrees - Add 3 degrees to living room - Cool living room 2 degrees
To set manual or automatic modes in a zone, say: - Activate auto mode in living room - Set auto mode in living room - Turn on auto mode in living room - Set manual mode in living room - Deactivate programming in living room - Stop programming in living room - Switch kitchen to manual mode
To set or activate an environment, say: - Set children's bathroom environment - Activate children's bathroom environment - Turn on children's bathroom environment - Apply children's bathroom environment - Prepare children's bathroom environment - Use children's bathroom environment - Launch children's bathroom environment
