This skill adds the voice control capabilities for the Roomskills products Roomskills Musiccontrol LMS and Roomskills Musiccontrol Sonos.
It allows Alexa voice control for Logitech Mediaserver and Sonos player.
The skill requires an active account on Roomskills.com and the players need to be setup on Roomskills.com .
Detailed instructions on how to set up the service can be found on the Roomskills.com web site under Products > Musiccontrol LMS or Musiccontrol Sonos.
After the setup some simple commands can be used to control the devices like - Alexa, tell music control play music from Michael Jackson in the living room - Alexa, tell music control play music in the kitchen
A standard room can be defined for each Echo device so the Echo in the dining room can be just adressed by
- Alexa, tell music control play music from michael jackson
to play the right music in the dining room right away.
Remark: This skill can be used to control the Logitech Mediaserver players. It is not intended to play music from the Logitech Mediaserver Player to the Amazon Echo players. For this we provide the skill 'Roomskills MyMusic'.
