Aviation brief reads aloud summarised METAR and TAF reports for any airport in the UK. Search by airport name or ICAO code.
To get a METAR briefing, you can say: ‘Alexa, ask aviation brief for’, followed by either the airport name or the ICAO code of the airport you want.
To get a TAF report, you can say: ‘Alexa, ask aviation brief, get TAF for’, followed by either the airport name or the ICAO code of the airport you want. When searching by airport name, aviation brief will better understand that you want to search by airport name if you say the name of the airport, followed by the word ‘airport’. When searching by ICAO code, please give the 4 letter ICAO code with each letter pronounced as in the NATO phonetic alphabet. For example, an airport with ICAO code, EGKK would be read as, ‘echo golf, kilo, kilo’. The NATO phonetic alphabet:
