You can ask Alexa to view a camera’s live feed via your Echo Show and Echo Spot. To use this skill, you need a compatible Swann Smart Security Camera and an Amazon Echo Show or Echo Spot.
The SafeBySwann Skill supports the following devices; * Swann Smart Security Camera (INTCAM)
Please Note: The Swann Smart Camera is a low power, battery operated device that takes some time to connect to your Alexa device and show a live stream. Depending on your region and network conditions, it can take up to around 20 seconds to see live video after you have requested it. We are continuing to improve the skill performance.
To configure this skill, please do the following; 1. Make sure that your Swann Smart Security Cameras are online and operating correctly via the SAFE by Swann app. 2. Select the 'Enable Skill' button to link this Skill 3. Login using your SAFE by Swann credentials 4. Select ‘Discover Devices’ to find available cameras on your Safe by Swann account 5. You can now use the SafeBySwann skill by requesting to see the respective camera name. Some example commands are; * “Alexa, show the front door“ * “Alexa, go home.”
