It's the traditional pub game Shut the Box now available to play with Alexa! Try to shut all the boxes and get the lowest score possible!
The object of the game is to try to close all of the boxes numbered 1 through 9. You play a solo game each time. Each turn, you'll roll the dice and then pick boxes one at a time to shut.
For example, let's say you roll a 12. You could shut the 9 box which would leave you with 3 of your roll remaining. You could choose the 1 box and the 2 box to close or you could choose the 3 box to close. Once you're done closing boxes for that rolll, you'll roll again.
As long as your total roll can be used to close remaining boxes, you'll keep rolling and shutting boxes.
If you're not sure what boxes are left open (or closed), ask Alexa for the status of the game and she'll let you know. You can also open the Alexa smartphone app and follow along with what boxes are opened on there.
