Back in the 1980s, Gary David Goldberg's production company, Ubu, would follow popular TV shows (such as "Famiy Ties") with a photo of his black Labrador, holding a frisbee. A voiceover said "Sit, Ubu, Sit!" followed by "Good dog!" and a *woof*. It's become embedded in many people's memory and often referenced in pop culture.
