SMARTLER comes with the room automation system for hoteliers offering convenience of control on multiple functions in a hotel room with mobile applications.
Features of SMARTLER includes Smart Lighting depending on time of day/weather, Control of room ambience (indoor temperature control), Drapes control, Control IR devices (TV/Set Top Boxes/AC etc.), Synchronised mood settings, etc.
Smartler Voice Skill aims to integrate Amazon's Smarthome Solution with SMARTLER. It enables room control with just the power of voice. The skill will enable room control using Amazon's Alexa powered Devices like Echo range of product. Users of this skill will be able to control Light, AC, Fan, Drape and TV in any environment where SMARTLER integration is available.
In room Controls that are supported by the skill are as follows:
Light: Turn On and Off. AC: Turn On and Off, set AC temperature to certain degree. FAN: Turn On and Off. Drape: Open , Close and Stop. Door: Open and Close Scene: Activate Scenes TV: Turn On, Turn Off, increase and decrease channel, set channel number, go to channel name, increase/ decrease volume including volume mute/unmute.
In order to enable the skill users are required to enter the following information during Account Linking process:
User Name: It is the username of the user linked to SMARTLER solution Password: It is the password corresponding to the username provided Property ID: Hotel's property number as registered with SMARTLER solution Room Number: Room number in which the Echo Device is located Alexa Mac Address: MAC ID of the echo device in the room
ALL the above information required for account linking will be provided to user by MSR IT Solution prior to account linking.
