Easy to get started, but here are some tips, savvy?!
Lucy (your onboard assistant), will be your guide to what actions you have available to you. At first you will be DOCKED in the Sol Star System and have limited options to began with, but soon you can repair, unload, fuel and upgrade. Say "Launch" to begin your pirate adventures and collect "NP" or "Nuclear Pasta" (the most valuable resource in the universe). Say, "Explore" to search for hidden space treasure, or to find cargo or another player pirate ships to attack and loot for NP. Say, "Travel" to travel to near by Star Systems. You can travel instantly by saying travel and the name of the star-system you already know, for example, "Travel to Wolf". You can explore and dock in new star systems as well. HINT! Different star-systems will have varying difficulty levels of cargo ships, as well as prices for repairs, fuel and $ conversion of NP.
