This skill tells users real time location of International Space Station(ISS) along with information about the astronauts who are currently present in ISS. A user can invoke the skill like :

User : Alexa, open space station.

Alexa : Hello, With this skill you can know about the astronauts present in space currently, the current position of ISS and the astronomy Image of the day.


It further provides information about the position of ISS(like ISS is currently above Raas Cabaad, Somalia.) and information about the astronauts which includes information about their mission and their biography.

User : Alexa, tell me about ISS.

Alexa : The current latitude of ISS is (current latitude) and longitude is (current longitude).

Alexa (prompts) : If you want to know about ISS position, say yes, else say no.

User : Yes/No.

Alexa : "ISS is currently above Somalia." etc.(If user replied yes) and "Thanks. You may say exit or You may ask for people in space or NASA astronomy image of the day." (If user replied no)

Along with the information about ISS, you may also ask it about the NASA Astronomy image of the day which is unique in itself. For example :

User : Alexa, tell me about NASA image of the day.

Alexa : There is an image today as NASA astronomy image of the day. Please say yes If you want me to explain it, else say no.

User : Yes/No.
