Star Vocabulary skill lets you quickly builds up vocabulary and achieve mastery of English.
This skill presents each word's meaning, spelling, and part of the speech like verb, noun or adjective etc., This is one of the most effective and proven ways to learn new English words.
Once this skill is enabled, Say “Alexa, open Star Vocabulary” to launch the skill. Once started, you will be asked 10 random questions out of the database of hundreds of words.
You just need to say the number of the choice (like one, two etc.,) to indicate the correct answer. If the answer is correct, you will score a point.
After every response, Star Vocabulary skill responds back whether or not the answer is correct. Alexa also spells out the word and repeats the word. This makes it very easy for our brains to remember the words, spellings and the meanings.
After completing 10 questions, you will receive an Alexa card (on your Alexa app) that summarizes your score. The card would also have the list of words with their meanings in two different sections - words answered correctly and words answered incorrectly. This way you can not only listen to the words but also be able to review them later.
